We will then ask you a series of questions about your child.
There are 2 documents that every insurance company requires us to send, in order for them to approve services for your child.
- Your child’s current IEP or 504.
- A neuro-psych evaluation performed by a provider licensed to diagnose for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This evaluation will state which assessment was utilized by the evaluator along with the results of the assessment. Lastly it should state that the evaluator “recommends ABA therapy/services”.
- If the assessment does not state “ABA services are recommended” parents may ask their child’s pediatrician to write a letter stating that their child is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, have the provider write the diagnosis code ( F84.0) and then the pediatrician recommend ABA services for treatment. Make sure to have the pediatrician sign the letter.
Once we receive these 2 documents, we will contact you regarding intake.
